DIG It Kingman’s open house success

The Children's Garden at DIG It Kingman Community Gardens celebrated nutrition month at its Open House on March 25. Several businesses and organizations from around Kingman contributed to this successful event.

Children planted seeds in their own personal pots, courtesy of Home Depot and Cerbat Garden Club. Coffee, water and snacks were donated by Starbucks, Rainbow Diner and Smith's. Mohave County Public Library's Ms. Kelly shared books during story time. Mohave County Public Health Education enlightened children about having good eating habits. A good time was had by all who attended. The next Children's Garden event will be Earth Day, April 22. See DigItKingmanCommunityGardens.org for more information.
